Introduction

Welcome to OmnyPost ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"). OmnyPost is a social media management and post scheduling platform available at omnypost.com that enables users to create, schedule, and publish content across multiple social media platforms from a single dashboard.

We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your personal data with transparency and care. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and what rights you have over it.

By accessing or using OmnyPost, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Service immediately.
2.

Data We Collect

We collect the following categories of data when you use OmnyPost:

Personal Information

Your name, email address, profile picture, and any other information you voluntarily provide when creating or updating your account.

Account Credentials

For users who register via email and password, we store securely hashed passwords. For users who sign in via third-party OAuth providers (such as Google), we collect the basic profile information returned by that provider in accordance with their policies.

Social Media Account Data

When you connect a social media account (such as Facebook, Instagram, X, Pinterest, YouTube, Threads, or LinkedIn), we collect and store OAuth access tokens, account/profile IDs, usernames, and page information necessary to enable scheduling and publishing on your behalf.

Google and YouTube Data

When you connect your Google or YouTube account, we access with your explicit consent via OAuth 2.0:
  • Your email address for account identification
  • Your first name, last name, and profile picture
  • Your YouTube channel information and uploaded video metadata
We access only the minimum data required to provide the scheduling and management features of our Service.

Payment Information

If you subscribe to a paid plan, we collect billing-related information through our third-party payment processor. This may include your billing address and partial payment card details. We do not store your full card number on our servers.

Technical Data

Information such as your IP address, browser type, operating system, device type, and pages visited on our platform. This is collected automatically through cookies and similar technologies.

Usage Data

Information about how you interact with our Service, including features used, buttons clicked, scheduling activity, and time spent on various sections of the platform.

Uploaded Media

Any images, videos, or other media files you upload to OmnyPost for use in your scheduled posts. These are stored securely on our servers.
3.

  • To connect and interact with your linked social media accounts via their official APIs
  • To schedule, publish, and manage your social media posts across connected platforms

  • To process subscription payments and manage billing
  • To send you important account and service-related notifications
  • To provide customer support and respond to your inquiries
  • To analyze usage patterns and improve the performance and features of our Service
  • To detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, or security issues
We do not use your data for advertising purposes, and we do not sell your personal information to third parties.
4.

Google User Data — Additional Disclosures

Because OmnyPost integrates with Google and YouTube APIs, we follow Google's API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

What we access: Email address, name, profile picture, YouTube channel data, and video metadata — with your explicit consent via OAuth 2.0.

How we use it: Solely to authenticate your identity, display your YouTube content inside OmnyPost, and allow you to schedule or manage YouTube content directly from our platform.

What we do not do: We do not use your Google or YouTube data for advertising, third-party analytics, or user profiling. We do not share your Google data with any third party except as necessary to send your content to YouTube via their API when you explicitly request it.

Data protection: All Google OAuth tokens are stored using AES-256 encryption. All data transmission uses HTTPS. We implement role-based access controls to limit internal access to sensitive data.
5.

Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to improve your experience on OmnyPost. Specifically:
  • Session cookies are used to keep you logged in during your session
  • Persistent cookies may be set if you choose 'Remember Me' at login, lasting up to 14 days
  • Preference cookies remember your display settings and account preferences
  • Analytics cookies help us understand how users interact with our platform so we can improve it
You can instruct your browser to refuse cookies or alert you when cookies are being sent. Please note that disabling cookies may affect the functionality of certain parts of the Service.
6.

Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We only share your data in the following circumstances:

Social Media Platforms: When you schedule or publish content, we transmit the necessary data and media to the respective platform via their official APIs, strictly as authorized by you.

Payment Processors: Payment information is shared with our third-party payment processor to handle subscription billing. We do not store full card details on our servers.

Service Infrastructure Providers: We may use trusted infrastructure providers for cloud hosting, file storage, and email delivery. These providers are contractually bound to protect your data and use it only for the purposes we specify.

Legal Requirements: We may disclose your data if required to do so by law, court order, or government authority, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, property, or the safety of our users.

Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your data may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you in advance of any such transfer.
7.

Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. Specifically:
  • Account data is retained for the duration of your account's existence
  • OAuth access tokens for connected social media accounts are retained until you disconnect the account or delete your OmnyPost account
  • Uploaded media files are retained until you delete them or your account is closed
  • Payment records may be retained longer where required by applicable law
When data is no longer needed, we securely delete or anonymize it.
8.

Data Security

We take the security of your data seriously and implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect it, including:
  • HTTPS encryption for all data transmission
  • AES-256 encryption for stored OAuth tokens and sensitive credentials
  • Secure hashing for user passwords
  • Role-based access controls limiting internal access to sensitive data
  • Regular security reviews of our infrastructure
However, no method of data transmission or storage over the internet is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
